Kristen Anne Bell (born 1980) is a famous American actress and singer. The parents of Kristen Bell are Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier who are both news director on television. Bell was raised and birthed in Huntington Woods Michigan. She is of Polish descent (mother) in addition to German, English and Scottish (father). Kristen developed a talent in the performing arts from an early age on stage. Her audition was in 1992 and was offered an appearance on Raggedy Ann, and Andy. Bell was accepted by her mother as an agent when she was just thirteen years old. Then, she was cast for newspaper ads and commercials on TV. Along with learning in private classes in acting, she launched her career around that time. Bell had a minor role, uncredited in Polish Wedding (1998), in 1998. Bell participated in the Drama and Music Club at Shrine Catholic High School. The Wizard of Oz production at the high school she attended earned her the leading Dorothy role. Bell went to New York City for the Tisch School of the Arts for a musical theater course after graduating. Bell left studying in the year 2001 and assumed the role of Becky the character of Tom Sawyer. The is the year she had her first credit debut with Pootie Tang (2001), however her character was deleted and her character was not shown in the credits sequence. Bell played featured in the Broadway revival of The Crucible starring Liam Neeson and Angela Bettis.
