Awkwafina

American musician and actor Awkwafina made her debut with humorous hip-hop tracks that addressed sexual identity and race with a the most outrageous comedy perspective prior to expanding her reach into Hollywood. She was born Nora Lum to Chinese and Korean immigrants in Forest Hills Queens her first experience with music came in the form of the trumpet. In the following years, she took up hip-hop and classical training. In college, she studied writing and women's studies. Then, she even had some time learning Mandarin during her time in Beijing. It wasn't until after graduating that she shifted her focus on music. The track My Vag, a response track to Mickey Avalon's My Dick gained viral popularity on the Internet in 2012. The track was later included in her debut album Yellow Ranger released in 2014. The album also contained were other viral hits including Queef (body-positive) as well as NYC Bitchethe cost of $. The final track was connected directly to Awkwafina's NYC travel guide which was published in 2015. The singer decided to make acting as a profession after having completed her two previous ventures as a musician and author. Apart from early series such as Girl Code and Tawk she was also in films such as Neighbors 2, Storks and Bad Rap. In the year 2018 she got an array of noteworthy performances, which included Dude Ocean 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. She released the EP, in Fina We Trust in June of the year.
